Cosatu unhappy with plans to cut teachers’ jobs

CAPE TOWN – Cosatu is up in arms over plans to cut hundreds of teaching posts in the Western Cape.
The provincial education department announced a week ago, that it would be reducing teaching posts, by not reappointing some contract teachers after their terms end on 31 December.
Malvern De Bruyn, the Cosatu Provincial Secretary, discussed this with eNCA.
